Entry 2

[OOC: This journal is best read from the first post (Preface) moving forward in time]

The amazing events continue, dear reader.

Of late, I have been assisting a certain hooluk named Hoo'Loh who hides, rather precariously, on a chain in the Barren Sky. He promised me something nice for saving him from the Vultak, but now needs more components for it. But, being the kind person I am, I have been gathering those components.

All that I needed today was some pristine Scaleborn blood, taken from a Scaleborn warrior within the Sanctum of the Scaleborn, and some blood from a Bloodscale Dreadknight.

Now, I knew where to find the first -- I have been in the Sanctum many times, so with the asistance of someone who was sitting in the League's chatty tavern, I went into the sanctum and began to kill the foul warriors. It took some time, as only the most pristine blood would do, but finally I scooped some up into a vial for later.

As for the Bloodscale Dreadknight, I knew these were not so easy to reach, for they were the guardians of the dragons in the Palace of the Awakened. I joined a group heading into there to seek experience and treasure, and we managed to slay not one but two dragons: A green and a blue. Luckily, we also had to slay some of the Dreadknights, one of which had just the blood I was looking for.

At this point I set off back to Hoo'Loh and I once again made that perilous climb up the chain. But still Hoo'Loh was not satisfied. I had to sneak into the Vultak-infested Nest of the Great Egg and bless the materials before it. This was no easy feat, with my disguise only effective at someone of a distance, and the place simply crawling with hostile Vultak.

The next page of the journal has a sketch of the Great Egg.

That was quite an escape from the Nest! After communing with the egg and having the items blessed, my disguise fell to pieces and I had to kill two of the vultak before I could make my magic-aided escape. I placed the bodies so that it appear the two fought so that there would be no danger to the Great Egg. I'm sure the Hoo'luk would be rather unhappy if I was the cause of their Egg's destruction.

But, once I returned to Hoo'Loh and gave him the blessed ingredients, he kept his word and gave me a rather excellent hat. It was such a nice item, it made me feel that I had truly achieved something there. And what's more, the experience I had sneaking through the Nest and getting the items for that hat was enough for me to advance to the 67th rank of Wardenship.

And, even later in the day, after I retired from adventuring and decided to practice my furniture-making skills once more, the foreman there commented that my skill had much improved and elevated me to the 51st level of Carpentry.

Entry 1

[OOC: This journal is best read from the first post (Preface) moving forward in time]

Today was indeed a momentus day! It seems as though I was prompted to begin this journal just to record today's events!

The day began mundanely enough. I decided to practice my Carpentry trade for a time and help out the Ironforge Exchange with some of their Rush Orders -- I don't know why they need so much furnature so quickly, but the pay is good enough and it lets me practice my skills.

And so there I was, when a call went out. My companions of The League and I adventured into the depts of the Silent City, a still terrifying place. In our past trips, we had almost ammassed enough of the Eyes of the undead there to enter the Fountain of Life. And tonight, we managed to get the final eye, and so we entered the fountain of life, the domain of the legendary Godking.

The place was rife with undead skeletons and gnolls. After defeating the gnolls' captain, we began to destroy the undead in an effort to reach the foul Godking. With everyone we destoryed, the Godking was weakened as they ressurrected. And then, the Godking abandoned his undead minions, who were clearly not capable of defeating our stalwart company, and concentrated his effort into ressurecting his faithful gnoll captain. It was another raging battle as the captain called all his followers in to assist him, but again he was no match for us, we quickly overpowered him and his copatriots.

And then the Godking began to fear. He summoned his Power and his Armor to him, greatly enchancing the abilities he had left. But his time had come. We destroyed his power, robbing him of one of his greatest attacked, and shattered his armor, leaving him exposed. And then, with one final blow, he fell. The immortal had fallen, and his hold over the waters of Fyr'Un was dashed. I filled my Vessel of Fyr'Un from the waters, and it took on a new life, becoming much more powerful than before.

At this point, it seemed as though the very ground of the Fountain of Life began to tremble. The Godking's undead minions began to pour back in, and I had no recourse but to call myself back to the safety of Qeynos. Just before I disappeared, I could of sworn that, out of the corner of my eye, I saw what I can only assume was the famed Ewer of Fyr'Un glimmer. A chill went down my spine, and then I knew that the Godking was not gone for good. The power of the Ewer was too great, it would resurrect him. I know I must find a way to destroy the Ewer for once and for all, and free the Silent City from the Godking's reign.

Preface

Dear reader, I awoke today with an omen in my mind. The rumors of the God's impending return may play a part -- lately I have felt a presence behind me, helping me, and this presence formed the idea of a journal as my first waking thought. I don't know why I need this record of my adventurers from this day forward, but something inside me willed me to obey this force. And I think this force... may be the power of Tunare.

And so I begin this record of my life, dear reader. May my lessons be your lessons, and my petty accomplishments your inspiration to greatness.
